Torque & Airflow Management

• Torque Model: Features maps for optimal and maximal indicated torque (including normal and sport modes), drag loss torque, ignition angle efficiencies, and lambda efficiency.

• Torque Request: Controls requested torque across all gears and modes, alongside inverse pedal position maps for torque verification.

• Air Charge Control: Includes target air filling and Mass Air Flow (MAF) pulsation correction.

• Throttle Valve Control: Manages airmass flow through the throttle valve and its position relative to pedal input laws.

Turbo & Rail Pressure (Turbocharged Engines)

• Boost Control: Specifically for turbocharged models, this includes turbine and compressor part efficiency and warm-up isobar process maps.

• Rail Pressure: Sets target rail pressure at part and full loads, including maximal values and safety limiters.

Ignition, Knock, & VVT

• Spark Advance: Access to base, optimal, and minimal spark advance, plus delta ignition for overboost protection and knock correction maps.

• Knock Control: Defines knock sensitivity, detonation regulation/measurement windows, and spark advance retardation steps.

• VVT (Variable Valve Timing): Independent setpoints for intake camshaft positions during base operation, warm engine, and catalyst heating phases.

Fueling & Temperature

• Injector Control: Manages the start of the 1st injection for engine starting, warm mode, and standard operation.

• Exhaust Gas: Features static exhaust gas temperature maps and ignition angle corrections based on EGT.

• Warm Up: Includes combustion correction factors and temperature correction for the throttle.

Limits & Diagnostics

• Limiters: Engine speed (RPM) limitation governed by coolant, oil, and intake temperatures.

• DTC Mask Editor: A built-in editor for managing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.
