Supported ECU Families & Hardware

The module is organized by Family IDs (FID), each targeting specific MCU types and memory configurations:

Kefico & Bosch Series

• Kefico CPEGD2.20.1 / CPGDSH2.26.1 (FID: 70): Based on the Infineon Tricore TC1782 (2.5MB). It allows calibration reading/writing and features a robust recovery mode from any state.

• Bosch ME(G)17.9.1x (FID: 72): Uses the TC1762 (1.46MB) for 1.0L–1.6L MPI/DOHC engines.

• Bosch ME(G)17.9.21 (FID: 74): Based on the TC1724 (1.5MB).

• Bosch ME(D)(G)17.9.8 (FID: 73): Based on the TC1767 (2.0MB).

• Kefico M(E)(G)7.9.8 (FID: 368): An older series based on the ST10F275 (832KB) that supports BSL, virtual reading, and calibration writing.

Siemens & Continental SIM2K Series

• SIM2K-24x (FID: 93): Covers 240/241/242/245 series with the TC1767 (2MB).

• SIM2K-141/341 (FID: 104): Based on the Motorola MPC561 (2MB external flash).

• SIM2K-141.1 (FID: 144): Based on the Motorola MPC563 (2.5MB total memory); supports virtual reading and writing.

• SIM2K-47 (FID: 88): An older unit based on the C167 MCU with 512KB external flash.

Delphi Series

• Delphi MT86 (FID: 77): Utilizes the Tricore TC1766 (1.46MB) for calibration area management.

Core Functionalities

• Interface: All operations are performed via CAN-bus through the diagnostic OBD2 plug.

• Checksums: The module automatically performs checksum correction during the writing process to ensure ECU stability.

• Read Types: Depending on the FID, the tool performs either FullFlash reading or Calibration area reading.

• Virtual Reading: Supported for specific modules like FID 144 and FID 368 where direct reading might be restricted.
