The module is divided into families based on the processor (MCU) architecture and the method of connection.
These ECUs use the Infineon Tricore TC1782 MCU with 2.5 MB of internal flash memory.
FID 152 (CAN): Supports Full OBD mode for FullFlash reading and writing of calibration and software areas. This can be done via the diagnostic connector or on a bench without opening the ECU.
FID 150 (BSL): Requires the ECU to be opened for reading FullFlash and writing calibration data in Boot Strap Loader (BSL) mode.
These ECUs use the Infineon Tricore TC1791 MCU with 4 MB of internal flash memory.
FID 252 (CAN): Similar to FID 152, it allows for Full OBD mode reading and writing of FullFlash (calibration + soft area) via the OBD port or on the bench. No ECU opening is required for unlocking.
FID 151 (BSL): Intended for work where the ECU must be opened to read FullFlash and write calibrations in BSL mode.
Data Integrity: The module performs automatic Checksum and CVN correction during the writing process.
Hardware Requirements:
A BITS001 special power adapter is required.
For stable performance, the manufacturer recommends using the Scanmatik SM2 or SM2 Pro.
It is also compatible with the Tactrix Openport 2.0 and Bosch VCM2.
Compatibility Warning: FIDs 152 and 252 are not guaranteed to work on ECUs that were previously flashed using different tools.
