The BitEdit Continental GPEC2A software module is a professional calibration editor for Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Fiat vehicles equipped with the Continental GPEC2A engine control unit (ECU). This system is built on the NXP (Motorola) MPC5764 microcontroller and features 4MB of internal flash memory.

Technical Capabilities

• Editor Only: BitEdit is strictly for editing calibration files. To read or write these ECUs, you must use a compatible flasher like BitBox.

• ECU Unlock Required: Most GPEC2A ECUs from 2013 onwards have internal tuning protection (RSA LOCK). You must unlock the ECU in BSL mode before modified files can be written via OBD2.

• Hardware Requirement: A BitSoftware Senselock USB dongle is required to run the software.
