The BitEdit Continental GPEC2 software module is designed for professional calibration editing of Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Fiat vehicles equipped with the Continental GPEC2 ECU. This system utilizes the Motorola MPC5566 microcontroller and features 3MB of internal flash memory.

Calibration Map Categories

The module provides access to a wide range of engine parameters for tuning:

• Airflow & Volumetric Efficiency: Volumetric efficiency (VE) calculation with multipliers and corrections, desired airflow at startup, and airflow limiters.

• Idle & Speed Control: Idle speed control in various modes, and engine speed limitation (RPM) in Drive and P/N.

• Fuel & Injection: Injection compensations, injection PWM offset, PWM scalar, and closed-loop control with associated delays.

• Ignition (Spark Advance): Spark advance at part load and WOT (Wide Open Throttle), optimal spark advance, adjustments for coolant and intake air temperature, spark advance during VVT launch, and spark advance limitation.

• Torque & Performance: Pedal power request, knock retardation control, and throttle valve control.

• VVT & Safety: Intake and exhaust camshaft angles, vehicle speed limitation (when found), and a DTC mask for managing diagnostic trouble codes.

Technical Requirements & Usage

• Hardware: A BitSoftware Senselock USB security dongle is strictly required to operate the software.

• Connectivity: The software uses a client-server architecture and requires a permanent internet connection for operation.

• ECU Access: For certain operations, such as writing via OBD, the ECU may require an unlock patch performed in boot mode.

• Policy: The developer does not allow URGENT requests for map updates or descriptions for this specific module.
