Calibration Map Categories

The module allows for the modification of essential engine parameters, including:

• Airflow Management: Volumetric efficiency calculation (with multipliers/corrections), desired airflow at startup, and airflow limiters.

• Fuel & Injection: Injection compensations, injection PWM offset, PWM scalar, and closed-loop control settings/delays.

• Ignition & Knock Control: Spark advance for part load, Wide Open Throttle (WOT), and optimal advance; adjustments for coolant and intake air temperature; spark advance during VVT launch; and knock retardation control.

• VVT & Throttle: Intake and exhaust camshaft angles for Variable Valve Timing, plus throttle valve control maps.

• Torque & Speed Limits: Pedal power request, engine speed (RPM) limitation in Drive and P/N, and vehicle speed (Vmax) limitation.

• Diagnostics: Includes a DTC mask to disable specific diagnostic trouble codes.

Technical Requirements & Policy

• Role: This is a map editor only. It is used to modify the binary file after it has been read from the ECU.

• Reading/Writing: To extract or load the file to the vehicle, you will need a separate tool such as BitBox (typically using FID: 13 for NGC4).

• Hardware: A Senselock USB security dongle is required to run the BitEdit software.

• Service Level: Per the developer's guidelines, no urgent requests are permitted for this specific module.
