Product Overview

The BitEdit Continental GPEC2A is a professional software module designed for editing engine calibrations in Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Fiat vehicles. It targets the Continental GPEC2A engine control unit (ECU), which is built on the MPC5764 (or MPC5674) microcontroller and features a 4MB internal flash memory.

• Hardware Requirement: Use of this module requires a BitSoftware USB security dongle (Senselock).

• Functionality: The software identifies the ECU flash file and provides a structured list of dynamic engine parameters that can be modified for performance tuning.

Extensive Calibration Map Categories

This module provides a wide array of maps for precise engine management:

• Airflow & Volumetric Efficiency (VE): Includes VE calculation with multipliers and corrections, desired airflow at startup, and various airflow limiters.

• Fuel & Injection: Adjustable injection compensations, injection PWM offset, PWM scalar, and closed-loop control maps with delay settings.

• Ignition (Spark Advance): Comprehensive control over spark advance at part load, Wide Open Throttle (WOT), and optimal spark advance. It also includes adjustments for coolant and intake air temperature, spark advance during VVT launch, spark advance limitations, and knock retardation control.

• Torque & Throttle: Access to pedal power (torque) request maps and throttle valve control parameters.

• VVT & Limiters: Tuning for VVT intake and exhaust camshaft angles, vehicle speed limitation, and engine speed (RPM) limits in both Drive and P/N modes.

• DTC Management: Features a DTC mask editor to selectively manage diagnostic trouble codes.
