The BitEdit Continental GPEC4 is a professional software module designed for editing calibrations in engine control units (ECUs) for Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Fiat vehicles. It supports both Continental GPEC4 and GPEC4LM ECU types, which are commonly found in modern naturally aspirated and turbocharged petrol engines.

• Software ID compatibility: Supports a vast list of software versions, including but not limited to 05149874AG, 05188195AC, 68366910AK, 68405708AJ, and 68738455AA.

• Target Hardware: Optimized for ECUs based on the MCU MPC5674F.

• Requirement: Requires a BitSoftware USB protection key (Senselock) to function.

Extensive Calibration Map Categories

This module provides access to a comprehensive set of parameters for fine-tuning engine performance:

• Air & Flow Management: Maps for nominal charge calculation, volumetric efficiency (VE) at part load, and multipliers for coolant/intake temperature.

• Fuel & Injection: stoichiometric lambda base values, fuel quantity injected, and power enrichment for both regular and high-octane fuels.

• Ignition (Spark): Base ignition angles, optimal spark advance in additional modes, minimum spark advance, and knock detection factors.

• Torque & Turbo: Boost pressure, target boost, turbine flow tables, wastegate area calibration, and accelerator pedal torque requests.

• Idle & Limiters: Desired idle speed (with/without AC), engine speed limits based on oil/coolant temperature, and vehicle speed limitations.

• VVT & Controls: Intake and exhaust camshaft angles, throttle valve opening ranges, and voltage limits for throttle adaptation.

• DTC Management: Includes a DTC mask editor for managing diagnostic trouble codes.
