Calibration Capabilities

This module provides access to an extensive array of maps for comprehensive engine management:

• Boost & Airflow: Intake system efficiency, wastegate duty and operation thresholds, boost limitation by EGT, load limitation, and maximal boost relative to atmospheric pressure, intake temperature, and boost ratio.

• Camshaft & VTEC: Precise control over intake and exhaust camshaft positions at both part and full loads.

• Fuel & Injection: Injector scaling, injector opening time based on fuel pressure, and target lambda maps (Closed loop, Full load, and Lean Best Torque).

• Ignition & Knock: Minimal spark advance, EGR-dependent advance/retardation, and corrections based on ECT, IAT, and camshaft angle. Knock control includes air charge and spark advance limitations.

• Throttle & Torque: Airmass flow through the throttle body, throttle position linearization and limitation, base torque, and torque limitation for automatic transmissions.

• Limiters & Switches: Engine and vehicle speed limitations, plus helpful toggles like the underboost error switch and rear O2 sensor switch.

Operational Constraints

• No DTC Mask: A full DTC table is not available in this module.

• Processing Time: Due to high technical load, urgent requests are not permitted. Standard requests for new software version descriptions typically take several days to complete.

• Hardware Required: Operation requires a BitSoftware Senselock USB security dongle.

• Software Role: BitEdit is a calibration editor; it does not read or write the ECU. For flashing and checksum correction, a tool like BitBox is required.
