Core Functionality

This module utilizes the K-line data interface for various service and tuning operations:

• Data Management: Supports FullFlash reading and writing, as well as EEPROM reading and writing.

• Safety & Diagnostics: Includes software identification, automatic checksum (CS) calculation, and the ability to perform a full recovery from any state.

• Compatibility: Specifically supports ECUs with part numbers in the 34750-XXX-XXX format.

The module contains two primary families based on the microcontroller architecture and communication method:

Important Bench Instructions

Certain ECU types may require an external programming voltage to initiate the writing process.

• Automatic Detection: If such a type is identified, the BitBox software will prompt you to perform specific manual actions.

• Hardware Setup: These operations, such as manually short-circuiting specific contacts on the ECU connector, can only be performed on the BENCH.

• Reference Material: Users are advised to consult the official manual and YouTube tutorials for detailed bench wiring instructions.

Technical Requirements

• Security: A BitSoftware Senselock USB security dongle is mandatory to authorize and run this module.

• Interface: For stable communication, a high-quality J2534 interface (such as the Tactrix Openport 2.0) is required.
