The module supports a wide range of hardware generations, utilizing microcontrollers such as the C167, Infineon Tricore (TC17xx), and Motorola MPC5554.

Key Operational Features

• Virtual Reading (VR): Families with VR support allow writing with updates even if a physical read is not performed.

• VBF to BIN Decryption: Users can decrypt VBF files into standard BIN format using a specialized button within the BitBox application.

• Compatibility Verification: For every family, the application automatically decrypts and checks VBF files for compatibility with the selected hardware before proceeding.

• Integrity Checks: Includes automatic checksum (CS) calculation and correction to ensure safe writing.

Technical Requirements

• Security Dongle: A BitSoftware Senselock USB security dongle is strictly required to authorize and run this module.

• Interface: Requires a high-quality J2534 Pass-thru adapter (such as Tactrix Openport 2.0 or Scanmatik 2 PRO).
