Supported ECU Families

The module supports two primary hardware families based on the Infineon Aurix microcontroller series:

Core Functionality

• Checksum Correction: The module automatically verifies and corrects checksums (CS) during the writing process to ensure data integrity and prevent ECU bricking.

• Interface Compatibility: Requires a high-quality J2534 Pass-thru device (such as Scanmatik 2 PRO or Tactrix Openport 2.0) for stable communication with the vehicle's CANbus system.

• No Bench Hardware Required: Unlike Gen2 modules, this specific module is optimized for working through the OBD diagnostic connector.

Technical Requirements

• Security Dongle: This software activation is licensed to a BitSoftware Senselock USB security dongle, which must be connected to the computer for the module to function.

• Vehicle Application: These Bosch MG1 controllers are typically found in modern Ford models, including late-model Mustang (5.0L), Focus ST, and F-150 variants.
