Supported Engine Families

This module is a "workhorse" for the tuning industry, covering many of the most reliable and high-volume engines produced by Toyota:

• 1AZ-FE / 2AZ-FE: The classic 2.0L and 2.4L engines found in the Camry, RAV4, and Scion tC.

• 1AR-FE / 2AR-FE: The modern 2.7L and 2.5L variants (Camry, Highlander, RAV4).

• 2TR-FE: The 2.7L engine common in the Hilux, Tacoma, and Fortuner.

• 3ZR-FE / 3ZR-FAE: 2.0L engines with Valvematic technology.

• 4GR-FSE / 5GR-FE: Smaller V6 engines (2.5L) found in regional Lexus and Crown models.

Key Calibration Parameters

The software provides a granular level of control over the engine's behavior, which is essential for performance tuning, economy optimization, or adapting to hardware changes.

Fuel & Air Management

• Closed Loop Logic: You can adjust the coolant temperature thresholds and delay timers to determine exactly when the ECU switches from Open Loop (startup/warm-up) to Closed Loop (standard cruising).

• Full Load Transitions: Adjust the throttle position percentages that trigger the transition into "Full Load" enrichment.

• AFR Targets: Modify the stoichiometry values and protection-based enrichment maps to ensure safe engine operation under high stress.

Ignition Timing & Knock Control

• Octane Adaptation: High/Low octane spark advance maps allow for optimization based on available fuel quality.

• Knock Protection: Detailed control over how much timing is pulled (retardation) when knock is detected and how quickly it is returned (recovery rate).

Camshaft & Airflow (VVT)

• Variable Valve Timing: Base and Full Load maps for both intake and exhaust camshafts.

• MAF Scaling: Essential for vehicles running aftermarket intake systems or larger diameter housings.

Driveability & Limits

• Electronic Throttle: Maps for maximum throttle position and pedal-to-throttle request mapping.

• Speed & Rev Limits: Ability to raise or remove factory-set speed and RPM governors.

• DTC Masking: Used to disable error codes (e.g., P0420 for catalytic converters) during specialized builds.

The supported software list is massive, covering thousands of regional variations. Examples include:

• Corolla/Matrix: 89663-02xxx series.
