Supported ECU Families (FIDs)

Important Usage Information

• OBD2 vs. Bench: While these are primarily OBD2 solutions, some vehicles may experience reading issues due to variations in equipment. If OBD2 reading fails, a bench connection is required.

• No Opening Required: Both supported FIDs are designed to be worked with externally, meaning there is no need to disassemble the ECU housing for bench or diagnostic port access.

• Calibration Focus: These FIDs specifically allow for the reading and writing of the calibration area rather than the full internal flash.

Hardware Requirements

• Security Dongle: A physical BitSoftware Senselock USB dongle is required to run the module.

• J2534 Interface: A high-quality J2534 Pass-thru device (such as Scanmatik 2 Pro, Tactrix Openport 2.0, or Dialink) is necessary for communication.

• Bench Accessories: For bench work, a Universal Bench Cable is required.
