Supported ECU Families (FIDs)

The module supports several specific Bosch EDC17 ECU types identified by their Family ID (FID):

Important Limitation: Bosch EDC17CP01 units that do not have an external flash memory are not supported by this module.

Module Features

The module includes the following functional capabilities:

• Software (SW) Identification: Detects the current software version and hardware IDs of the ECU.

• Reading: Allows for the real reading of the calibration area via the OBD2 port.

• Writing: Supports writing the modified calibration area back to the ECU.

• Checksum Correction (CS): Automatically calculates and corrects checksums during the writing process to ensure engine stability.

Technical Requirements

• Security Dongle: A BitSoftware Senselock USB dongle is mandatory to activate and use the software.

• J2534 Interface: Requires a high-quality J2534 Pass-thru adapter, such as the Tactrix Openport 2.0 or Scanmatik 2 Pro.
