Hardware Requirements

• Security Dongle: A BitSoftware Senselock USB dongle is mandatory for software activation.

• J2534 Interface: Requires a high-quality J2534 device (e.g., Scanmatik SM2 Pro, DrewTech CarDAQ+, or Tactrix Openport 2.0).

• CAN Speed: For Bench FID 254, the interface must support an 800 kbit/s CAN-bus speed.

Key Recommendations

• Bench vs. OBD: While several families allow OBD writing, the manufacturer strongly recommends bench connections for FID 197 to prevent potential EEPROM corruption and for FID 216 if OBD issues occur.

• Third-Party Compatibility: This module is noted to be fully compatible with hardware like the Powerbox and Combibox used with PCMflash.
