Editable Map Parameters

The module allows for comprehensive engine tuning by providing access to the following map categories:

• Injection: Control over injection timing, start-of-injection, and temperature-dependent injection corrections.

• Torque Control: Management of friction and drag torque, indicated torque, requested torque under various conditions, and limitations for full load, power, and slowdown.

• Ignition & Knock: Spark advance (base, optimal, minimal), advance corrections, knock sensor sensitivity, and fuel quality detection maps.

• Air Management: Airmass calculation, air density values, compression ratio, and throttle valve target positions (including mechanical law and maximal requests).

• Lambda & Exhaust: Target lambda for part/full load and WOT (Wide Open Throttle) modes, combustion efficiency, and exhaust gas model (temperature/pressure).

• Limiters: Adjustment of engine speed (Rev) limiters and vehicle speed limitation values.

• Hardware: Requires the BitSoftware Senselock USB dongle for license activation.

• Flasher Compatibility: While BitEdit is for editing, the BitBox VAG Marelli Petrol module is typically used for the actual reading and writing of these files via OBD2.
