The BitBox PSA Petrol CAN module is designed for reading and writing the internal flash memory of engine control units (ECUs) used in Peugeot and Citroen petrol vehicles via the CAN-bus. All supported families allow for reading and writing of the calibration area through the OBD2 diagnostic connector, with automatic checksum correction performed during the writing process.

• Hardware Requirements: A BitSoftware USB protection dongle is required to use this software. To perform operations through the OBD2 connector, a compatible J2534 Pass-thru adapter (such as Scanmatik 2, OpenPort 2.0, or Dialink) is necessary.

• Connection: The software utilizes a client-server architecture and requires an active internet connection to function.

• Future Updates: Additional ECU types are planned to be added to the module as they become available.
