The BitBox PSA Diesel CAN module is a specialized software package for reading and writing diesel engine control units (ECUs) in Peugeot and Citroen vehicles. It primarily focuses on high-performance Bosch, Continental, and Delphi systems, supporting operations via CAN-bus through the diagnostic connector (OBD2) or in Boot Select Loader (BSL) mode.
| ECU Family | FID | Microcontroller (MCU) | Flash Memory | Mode & Features |
| Delphi DCM6.2A | 179 | NXP MPC5674 | 4.0 Mb Internal | OBD2 reading/writing of calibration area with checksum correction. |
| Delphi DCM7.1A | 264 | Aurix TC297 | 6.0 Mb Internal | BSL Mode only; supports FullFlash reading/writing with checksum correction. Requires Scanmatik 2/3. |
| Continental SID208 | 232 | Infineon TC1797 | 4.0 Mb Internal | OBD2 reading/writing of calibration area. Works with Scanmatik SM2/Pro or OpenPort 2.0. |
| Bosch EDC17C10 | 210 | Infineon TC1797 | 4.0 Mb Internal | OBD2 reading/writing of calibration area with checksum correction. |
| Bosch EDC17C10 | 211 | Infineon TC1796 | 4.0 Mb External | OBD2 reading/writing of calibration area with checksum correction. |
| Bosch EDC17C60 | 212 | Infineon TC1793 | 4.0 Mb Internal | OBD2 reading/writing of calibration area with checksum correction. |
Security Dongle: A BitSoftware Senselock USB dongle is strictly required to authorize and run the module.
J2534 Interface: A compatible Pass-thru adapter is necessary. While Tactrix OpenPort 2.0 is widely supported, certain families (like FID 264) specifically require Scanmatik 2 (SM2/SM2 Pro) for correct operation.
Connectivity: The software utilizes a client-server architecture, requiring a stable internet connection for identification and flashing procedures.
Note on FID 264: This module is currently marked for "TEST" and "SM2 Only," meaning it should be used with caution and specifically with Scanmatik hardware for BSL operations.
