Supported ECU Families

The module supports several Continental and Valeo ECU types based on different processor architectures:

• Continental EMS3110 (FID: 139):

  • Processor: Infineon Tricore.

  • Memory: 1.46 MB internal flash.

  • Capabilities: Supports identification, reading, and writing via CAN bus.

• Continental EMS3125 (FID: 165):

  • Processor: Infineon Tricore TC1782.

  • Memory: 2.5 MB internal flash.

  • Capabilities: Supports reading and writing with checksum correction.

• Continental EMS3155 (FID: 178):

  • Processor: Infineon Tricore TC1782.

  • Memory: 2.5 MB internal flash.

  • Capabilities: Supports reading and writing via CAN bus.

• Valeo V40/V42 (FID: 154):

  • Processor: Renesas SH7058.

  • Memory: 1 MB internal flash.

  • Capabilities: Supports identification, reading, and writing via CAN bus.

• Valeo V50 (FID: 169):

  • Processor: Renesas SH72543.

  • Memory: 2 MB internal flash.

  • Capabilities: Supports reading and writing with checksum correction.

Technical Requirements

• Hardware: Requires a BitSoftware Senselock USB dongle for license activation.

• Interface: A J2534 Pass-thru adapter is necessary for vehicle communication.

• Bench Equipment: For working with the ECU out of the vehicle, compatible power tools like Combibox or Powerbox are recommended.
