The module specifically utilizes FID 198 to interface with Mitsubishi MH8104F controllers via the K-Line protocol. Its core functions include:
Software Identification: Retrieving the specific firmware details from the ECU.
FullFlash Reading & Writing: Allowing for complete data backup and recalibration over the K-Line.
Checksum (CS) Calculation: Automatic checking and correction of checksums during the writing process.
The current version of this module supports several Suzuki outboard series:
DF9.9B / DF15A / DF20A
DF25A / DF30A
DF40A / DF50A / DF60A
DF100A / DF115A / DF140A
Note: Additional outboard types and ECU configurations are planned for future updates.
This module has specific hardware and voltage requirements that must be met for successful operation:
Programming Voltage: A +16V programming voltage must be applied to the ECU to enable writing. This can be supplied via pin 12 of a compatible J2534 device or an external power source.
Compatible Interfaces:
The Tactrix OpenPort 2.0 is the preferred and tested interface.
DrewTech CarDAQ has also been tested and confirmed to work.
Incompatible Hardware: Devices such as the DrewTech Mongoose, Scanmatik, and Ford VCM2 are not supported as they do not provide the required +16V on pin 12 or support single-byte K-Line operations.
Security: A BitSoftware Senselock USB dongle is required to activate and run the license.
