OBD2 Solution for GM Gen2 ECUs

This professional BitBox module is engineered for reading and writing ACDelco Gen2 engine control units via the vehicle's diagnostic connector (OBD2) using the CAN-bus. It is designed specifically for petrol-powered General Motors vehicles.

• Reading & Writing: Allows for reading the FullFlash and writing the calibration area through the CAN-bus.

• Checksum Correction: Automatically performs checksum correction during the writing process to ensure software integrity.

• Authentication Requirement: This module does not support automatic authentication. It requires a specific authentication key for every ECU/vehicle for reading and writing operations. This key can be extracted from dealer reflash CAN-bus logs or ordered from third-party providers.

Required Hardware for Operation

To utilize this software module, the following hardware is mandatory:

• BitSoftware USB Security Dongle: A mandatory Senselock USB key is required to host the activated software license.

• J2534 Pass-Thru Interface: A high-quality J2534 adapter (such as Tactrix Openport 2.0) is required for stable CAN-bus communication.

• Internet Connection: An active internet connection is necessary for module operation and server-based features.
