WinOLS 4.51 is a professional ECU remapping and tuning software developed by EVC Electronic. It’s used by tuning professionals worldwide to modify and optimize the firmware (maps) stored inside a vehicle's Engine Control Unit (ECU). The software allows users to adjust parameters like fuel injection, ignition timing, turbo boost, torque limiters, and more — improving performance, efficiency, or emissions.
DAMOS files (also known as A2L files) provide a detailed map structure of the ECU firmware. They help users understand what each map or parameter controls — acting like a guide or "blueprint" to make tuning much safer and more accurate.
Read ECU File: First, you extract (read) the ECU firmware using an ECU reading tool (explained below).
Open in WinOLS: Load the ECU file into WinOLS to view and edit maps.
Use DAMOS/A2L Files: If you have the right DAMOS file for the ECU, you can easily identify and label map data.
Edit Maps: Change values like fuel mixture, turbo boost, rev limits, etc.
Write Back to ECU: Once edited, the file is written back to the ECU using the same reading/writing tool.
Yes. WinOLS is just the software — to read from and write to the ECU, you need a compatible ECU tuning interface (VCI). Common devices include:
KESSv2 / KESS3 (Alientech)
KTAG (for Bench/Boot mode)
Dimsport New Genius
CMD Flash
MPPS
FGTech
BitBox, PCMFlash, etc.
Choose the VCI based on the ECU type and whether you want to work via OBD, Bench, or Boot mode.
Operating System: Windows 10-pro (64-bit recommended)
RAM: (8 GB or more recommended)
CPU: (i5/i7 preferred for faster processing)
Storage: 1–2 GB free space for software + additional space for project files
⚠️ Make sure your Windows is activated and antivirus/firewall does not block WinOLS.
