ODIS (Offboard Diagnostic Information System) is the official dealer-level diagnostic software used by Volkswagen Group (VAG) brands including Volkswagen, Audi, Skoda, SEAT, Bentley, Lamborghini, and Bugatti.
It includes two main versions:
ODIS Service – For diagnostics, service functions, coding, adaptation, and guided fault finding.
ODIS Engineering – Used by engineers and professionals for advanced coding, parameter changes, ECU flashing, and development/testing.
ODIS communicates with a vehicle's electronic control units (ECUs) using a compatible VCI (Vehicle Communication Interface). It allows you to:
Read and clear DTCs (Diagnostic Trouble Codes)
Perform full vehicle diagnostics
Program and code ECUs
Perform service resets and calibrations
Flash firmware on supported modules
Access SFD-protected functions (with official accounts)
ODIS requires a VCI (interface) to connect the vehicle to the computer. Supported interfaces include:

✅ VAS 6154 / 6154A (official and newer, supports DoIP)
✅ VCX Nano / VCX SE (Passthru-compatible)
✅ J2534-compatible devices (like Tactrix Openport 2.0, Autel J2534, etc.)
