How to Use the LAUNCH TPMS Kit:

  1. Power On the i-TPMS Tool:

    • Connect the device via OBD2 or power it up manually.

    • Select your vehicle make/model/year.

  2. Activate Existing Sensors:

    • Position the i-TPMS tool near the tire valve stem.

    • Trigger and read existing sensors to check condition and ID.

  3. Program New LTR-03 Sensors:

    • Insert a new LAUNCH LTR-03 sensor.

    • Choose a programming method:

      • Auto Create: Generates a new ID automatically.

      • Copy by Activation: Copies the ID from the original sensor.

      • Copy by OBD: Reads the original sensor ID from the ECU and programs it.

  4. Relearn the Vehicle ECU:

    • Perform the relearn procedure using the i-TPMS or a compatible LAUNCH scan tool (e.g., X-431).

    • Follow on-screen instructions for stationary, drive, or OBD relearn.

  5. Verify and Finish:

    • Ensure all sensor data is recognized by the ECU.

    • Save and print diagnostic reports if needed.
